Questions?

What is an electronic signature?

An electronic signature (or eSignature) is an efficient and legally recognised method for signifying a person’s agreement to a document or transaction. Globally acknowledged for their security and reliability, eSignatures have replaced traditional handwritten signatures in many industries.

How do you create an electronic signature?

When you sign a document with Signable, you will be given the option to either draw, type, or upload an image of your signature. It couldn’t be easier.

What type of electronic signature does Signable offer?

Signable provides all three levels of electronic signature: Simple Electronic Signatures (SES), Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES), and Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES).

SES are the most accessible form of electronic signature, designed for ease of use and efficiency. As they do not require complex identity verification, they’re ideal for day-to-day agreements like sales and procurement contracts or standard forms.

AES are used for more sensitive documents where a greater level of security is required. With AES, the identity of the signer can be verified using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), giving your documents an added layer of protection.

QES offer the highest level of assurance under eIDAS, with additional identity verification carried out by a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP). They have the equivalent legal effect of a handwritten signature under eIDAS, making them suitable for higher-value agreements, documents with specific signing requirements, or cross-border transactions where QES is required.

What customer support does Signable offer?

We offer outstanding UK based customer support – you can contact our Customer Success team via email, phone or livechat and they’ll always be happy to help with any questions. We also have an extensive help site that covers everything you need to know about getting started with Signable and making the most out of the platform.

Can I integrate Signable into my own website or application?

Yes, you can do so via the Signable API. Our API is available to all customers on a monthly or annual paid plan, and our easy to follow documentation makes getting set-up simple.
